Glove Care
Proper glove maintenance can make a world of difference in your performance. Here are the key tips you need to know:
Before First Use:To improve the grip, it is recommended to rinse your gloves with warm water before using them for the first time. Keep washing until the water runs clear.
Pre-Game Prep: Before stepping on the pitch, dampen your gloves for optimal grip. A quick lick or a sponge works great!
Wash and Dry:After each use, rinse your gloves with lukewarm water and neutral soap to remove dirt and sweat. Rinse them until the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water. Washing your gloves in the washing machine is not recommended, as it can damage your gloves and compromise their quality.Let them air dry naturally and hang the gloves with the fingers pointing downward at room temperature. Avoid exposing the gloves to direct sunlight and do not place them near direct heat sources. The gloves should be washed regularly, preferably after every game. After cleaning and drying your gloves, they will be ready to use again with excellent grip.
Rotation: Have 1-2 backup pairs and rotate them to extend their lifespan. No one glove should carry the entire season's weight!
Proper Storage: Keep your gloves in a cool, dry place, and never leave them in your soccer bag. Use glove bags or breathable pouches to maintain their shape and freshness.
